Chalet Simone has a traditional chalet atmosphere with its exposed beams, stone fire and comfortable furniture. Curl up on a cosy sofa to enjoy your afternoon tea in front of a roaring fire after a day on the slopes.
Chalet Simone comfortably sleeps 6 over 3 bedrooms. If your group takes over the whole chalet then 2 more guests can be added. As the chalet is in the Mottaret area of Meribel then access to the skiing is easy. The piste and lifts are close by and the views are fantastic from this elevated position of the resort.
The balcony of the chalet overlooks some of the main runs so you will get a good idea of the piste conditions before you even leave the chalet!

Location
Located in Mottaret. 250 metres to the lifts. About 100 metres to the Piste running down to the village/lifts. The shops, bars and restaurants of Mottaret are about 400 metres away. The free shuttle bus stops close to the chalet.

Chalet catering is based on a hearty set menu which minimises waste and allows us to use locally sourced, high-quality ingredients. Any specific dietary requests must be discussed prior to booking so checks can be made that we can cater for your needs.
Please note this is based on 7-night holidays. Your chalet staff will have 1 day off.
A hearty breakfast
Guests will enjoy a comprehensive continental breakfast for seven mornings with delicious and varied hot options provided by our hosts on five days. On our chalet hosts’ day off, continental breakfast will be laid out.
On your return from the slopes
A freshly baked cake or biscuits with tea and coffee awaits for you on 6 days
In the evening
Enjoy a delicious, freshly cooked 3 course meal with unlimited wine until coffee on 5 nights. On one other night a 2 course Alpine speciality is provided. This gives 6 nights of catering/evening meals.

Chalet Housekeeping
Chalet communal areas will be cleaned and tidied daily, except for staff days off. Bathrooms will be cleaned once mid-week and bins will be emptied.
Tourist Tax - Not Included. A tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour) is levied by local councils in European ski resorts. The amount charged varies according to the standard and type of accommodation. It is also not paid by all skiers as it is age-dependent.
Chalet Enhancements
Packed Lunches - Avoid the queues and expensive mountain restaurants with a 'build-your-own' packed lunch. Available for either 3 or 5 days.

Wifi - In many mountain resorts, signal strength is limited throughout the village not just in individual properties and speeds are not as we are used to in most urban environments in the UK. Streaming of music or films is generally not possible. Wi-Fi or internet access often belongs to the property/chalet owner and is therefore completely out of our control.
For any Wi-Fi access, regardless of the supplier, we cannot guarantee that it will be operative during your holiday.
Flights and transfers from various UK airports are available as well as Independent travel and self drive options.
Lift passes can be pre-booked and delivered to your chalet and ski hire organised for you by in-resort teams (extra cost). The chalet is also available on an "all inclusive" basis which includes lift passes and ski/board hire or ski carriage.
