Chalet Andre

Chalet Andre (sleeps 6-7) is a lovely traditional chalet with rustic furnishings and a stone fire place. All bedrooms enjoy modern en suite bathrooms and there is a large balcony with stunning views of both Meribel and the mountains. This chalet is a true favourite as its location (along with its sister chalet Elodie) is pretty near perfect for the Three Valleys so early booking is recommended.
Chalet staff live in a studio below the chalet.

Room 1 = small twin with shower and WC (facilities within room partitioned by sliding door) (£3pp per night discount if occupied by 2 adults)
Room 2 = twin with shower and WC
Room 3 = twin (with additional pull-down bed - only suitable for children aged 2-11), bath and WC (if the third bed is occupied by a child aged 2-11 years they pay half the adult full price)

Location
Chalet Andre is in a superb location near the top of Mottaret.
The lifts can be accessed from a blue run, which is just 120m (approx.) from the chalet. Alternatively beginners can walk to the lifts which are just 250m away.
Really good access to ski hire as the rental shop is less than 1 minute away.

Chalet catering is based on a hearty set menu which minimises waste and allows us to use locally sourced, high-quality ingredients. Any specific dietary requests must be discussed prior to booking so checks can be made that we can cater for your needs.
Please note this is based on 7-night holidays. Your chalet staff will have 1 day off.
A hearty breakfast
Guests will enjoy a comprehensive continental breakfast for seven mornings with delicious and varied hot options provided by our hosts on five days. On our chalet hosts’ day off, continental breakfast will be laid out.
On your return from the slopes
A freshly baked cake or biscuits with tea and coffee awaits for you on 6 days
In the evening
Enjoy a delicious, freshly cooked 3 course meal with unlimited wine until coffee on 5 nights. On one other night a 2 course Alpine speciality is provided. This gives 6 nights of catering/evening meals.

Chalet Housekeeping
Chalet communal areas will be cleaned and tidied daily, except for staff days off. Bathrooms will be cleaned once mid-week and bins will be emptied.
Tourist Tax - Not Included. A tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour) is levied by local councils in European ski resorts. The amount charged varies according to the standard and type of accommodation. It is also not paid by all skiers as it is age-dependent.

Packed Lunches - Avoid the queues and expensive mountain restaurants with a 'build-your-own' packed lunch. Available for either 3 or 5 days.

Wifi - In many mountain resorts, signal strength is limited throughout the village not just in individual properties and speeds are not as we are used to in most urban environments in the UK. Streaming of music or films is generally not possible. Wi-Fi or internet access often belongs to the property/chalet owner and is therefore completely out of our control.
For any Wi-Fi access, regardless of the supplier, we cannot guarantee that it will be operative during your holiday.
Flights and transfers from various UK airports are available as well as Independent travel and self drive options.
Lift passes can be pre-booked and delivered to your chalet and ski hire organised for you by in-resort teams (extra cost). The chalet is also available on an "all inclusive" basis which includes lift passes and ski/board hire or ski carriage.
