Chalet Lagopede

Chalet Lagopede is a 4 bedroom chalet that is bright and airy so perfect for groups of 8 to 10 guests. It is also ideal for a couple of families to take over.
The chalet is ideally located in the quiet village of Le Raffort and situated a few meters from the village piste enabling you to ski back to the chalet each evening. The Olympic gondola is a 200m ski from the front door of the chalet. You will never have to walk in ski boots, we offer a driver service every morning and every evening, to and from the chalet to the slopes.
The chalet itself offers a relaxing atmosphere for your ski holidays. Sink into the squishy sofa and have a glass of wine in front of the log fire or take in the stunning views from the large windows and sunny balcony.
Chalet Lagopede offers an inviting space to relax after a hard day on the mountain. Take a plunge in the outdoor Hot Tub or relax in the outdoor Sauna and ease away the aches and pains of the day, afterwards sink into a comfy sofa and chill out in front of the roaring log fire with a glass of bubbly and take in the magnificent views from the large windows and its sunny balcony.
The chalet is spread out over three floors and all bedrooms are en suite with bath/shower.
The master bedroom is upstairs with a vaulted beamed ceiling. It has a king-size double bed, as well as a small mezzanine area with 2 single beds. There is a large en-suite family bathroom with separate walk in shower and access to the private balcony via large French doors.
The middle floor is home to the entrance with boot warmers and cloakroom, open plan kitchen and Living/Dining area.
The spacious sitting area has a vaulted double height ceiling, large log fire place and French windows to the balcony offering fantastic views of the Meribel Valley.
Downstairs are three further double/twin bedrooms all with en-suite facilities.

Our professional chef will serve you 5-course dinners on 5 evenings accompanied by an excellent selection of wines.
The chalet is equipped with all mod-cons: Wi-Fi, TV with UK Freesat, DVD/Blueray player with a selection of movies.
The chalet is serviced by one of our in-resort minibuses to take you to the mountain each morning (08.30 - 10.00) and is also available to pick you up in the evening from Meribel (16.30 - 19.00)
La Raffort has an excellent restaurant and bar which is just 200m from the chalet.

Chalet Lagopede is located in the La Raffort area of Meribel which is 2Km from Meribel centre.

Meribel Centre is located 2km away, a 5 minute drive in our in-resort minibus (08.30 - 10.00 and 16.30 - 19.00), or with the free ski bus which stops 200m from the chalet. It is also accessible by foot in around 20 minutes

What's Included
Breakfast – Breakfast is served every day. 5 mornings out of 7 our chef will serve a cooked breakfast in addition to the continental spread of croissants, pain-au-chocolates, yogurts, cereal, porridge, fresh bread, conserves, a choice of fruit juices freshly brewed coffee and a selection of speciality teas. 2 breakfasts are continental self service on staff days off.
Afternoon Tea – each day - this will be available for you to help yourself to on returning to the chalet in the afternoon. Home-baked cake or biscuits, fresh French bread, Hot drinks of hot-chocolate, tea & coffee, complimentary bar available.
Dinner – We serve a 5 course evening meal 5 evenings from your 7 night stay. 4 courses including a cheese board served with Port
We will kick off the evening with Canapes and pre dinner drinks from around 19.15, followed by a 4-course dinner from 19.30.
Complimentary Bar
Our Complimentary bar is available any time throughout the day for consumption within the chalet. Choose from an excellent selection of Red, White & Rose wines, Prosecco, sparkling wines and lager, a selection of spirits & mixers and soft drinks.
WINES – We vary our wines from year to year and spend time carefully choosing our chalet wines. We offer an extensive range of good quality French bottled wines, often our chefs will match the wines to your meal that evening. All our wines are supplied by the fabulous local company LE VERRE GOURMAND
Dietary Requirements
If you have any special dietary needs or allergies, we will be happy to adapt our menu to suit. We also offer a two course dinner option for younger children. We do however ask you to inform us at the time of booking.
Children
For younger kids meal times are a breeze. We offer a high-tea option for the younger members of the family and are flexible to the parents requirements as to timings and menu options. Our chefs will discuss with the parents on arrival and adapt the kids menu to suit their likes & dislikes.
Staff day off service – Our staff have 2 days off each week.

Your chalet hosts will leave breakfast laid out for you to enjoy at a time to suit your schedule.
An Afternoon Tea will be laid out for you to help yourselves to on return from the slopes.
We provide a house keeping service on staff days off, our cover host will visit the chalet during the morning and clear away the breakfast, set up afternoon tea, replenish the bar and make up your bedrooms.
