After weeks of glorious sunshine we have finally had some fresh snow. There is a storm forecast over some of the Alps over the next few days so that will hopefully be a refreshing top up to the pistes! This is it - the 3 valleys ski area is now up and running and open for skiing. We have been counting the days and we can now get skiing with access over to Val Thorens and Courchevel too.  The pistes are in good condition on the higher levels with snowmaking lower down ensuring you can ski b[Click for more]

We have just loaded up the gorgeous Chalet Violette which is close to the slopes in Meribel Village. The chalet sleeps 6 and has access to a pool, saunas and steam rooms! Due to the fabulous early snow falls Courchevel is planning on opening early! The resort is open today for a free taster session and is looking great already. 30cm fell over just 24hrs so it is going to be a brilliant day.
