Have you ever thought about driving out to the Alps instead of flying? Imagine being able to pack the car with everything you need instead of squashing it all into your ski bag and not bringing everything that you need. Families enjoy driving over as means that you can fill the car with all the extras that you would or could need on your family ski holiday in the Alps.
It also means that you can make an extended ski holiday. How about stopping over in a lovely rural location on the way. Eat some local French cuisine and taste some delicious wines. Get up in the morning and head off after breakfast with a short drive to the mountains. Arrive feeling fresh and ski the afternoon that you arrive.
No more getting up in the middle of the night to catch a flight and worrying about luggage allowance etc.
Just a thought but it can also be more cost effective too if you self drive and take an apartment.
