Be currency savvy this winter and go all inclusive or chalet board. This will save you money in resort as you will be dining in your chalet or chalet hotel. Breakfast, afternoon tea and 3 course evening meals with wine are all included.
Make yourself a tasty packed lunch and eat out in the mountain restauraunts a couple of times during your stay instead of every day.
Pre book your lift pass and ski hire before you go. Again this will save you money as you are paying in pounds before you go. There are usually good lift pass deals such as buy one get one half price or free to take advantage of. Group leaders get a free pass. Ski hire deals are usually available too or pre booking the bundle of lift pass, ski carriage, ski hire all together works.
This is where the all inclusive chalet deals come into their own light as flights, transfers, chalet board, lift pass, skis and boots are all included in the one price! Bargain!
Another way to save on your Euros is to pre order your Euros and do not get them in the airport. A card such as the Revolut Card saves you money as there are no bank charges for using it abroad and it automatically converts your money into the local currency at the best exchange rate.
If you plan ahead and are currency savvy you are ahead of the game and can relax and enjoy the skiing.
