More high speed lifts are being installed this summer in the Three Valleys. The St Martin 2 quad has been upgraded into a six seater, which increases the capacity to 3,200 people per hour and improving the link into Meribel.
The lift operator has then recycled this old lift to replace the slow old lift out of Le Bettex just below Les Menuires. This chair will take skiers into the heart of the Three Valleys lift system and will link the small village of Le Bettex by piste to the rest of the area.
And as part of the plans to improve the Plattieres section above Meribel Mottaret, another new high-speed six-seater chairlift has been constructed for the forthcomin Winter. The Combes chair will run to an altitude of 2,200m and will replace the old Combes and Table Verte lifts, speeding up access to Tougnete and the 3 Valleys.
